PO-04-038 ULTRA HIGH DENSITY MAPPING TO IDENTIFY MICRO-REENTRANT LEFT ATRIAL FLUTTER CIRCUITS WITHIN LOW BIPOLAR VOLTAGE REGIONS: A CASE SERIES

چکیده

Micro-reentrant (MR) atrial flutter (AFL) circuits may not be evident with standard bipolar or multipolar mapping. We report 3 cases of left (LA) AFL where HD Grid + Omnipolar technology (Ensite X, Abbott) revealed MR within an area scar as noted by N/A Three patients prior LA ablation presented symptomatic AFL. mapping was done using the Ensite X system in Voxel mode. Bipolar voltage cutoff set at 0.3 to 0.05 mV. A 65-year-old CL 335 ms. Mapping Advisor spiral showed a large posterior wall and no circuit RA. Remapping identified 12 mm entire low which dense (Figure 1A). 59-year-old male 340 ms proximal distal CS activation. grid 21 mid fractionated mid-diastolic electrograms 1B 1C). Third patient 54-year-old who had posterolateral mitral annulus, otherwise Successful sites all did have identifiable electrogram on catheter (<0.05 mV, Figure 1 D). This case series demonstrates that ultra high-density technology, dynamic adjustment threshold, enables identification circuits, leading successful ablation, critical isthmi were

A Difficult Case Of Left Atrial Flutter.

A 55-year-old male was referred for a third ablation procedure because of recurrent atrial fibrillation. During re-isolation of the inferior right pulmonary vein the patient developed an atypical flutter with an clockwise activation pattern around the mitral annulus. Linear ablation at the left mitral isthmus transformed but did not terminate the tachycardia. The cavotricuspid isthmus proved to...

Design Techniques for Low-Voltage High-Speed Digital Bipolar Circuits

This paper describes design techniques for multigigahertz digital bipolar circuits with supply voltages as low as 1.5 V. Examples include a 2/1 multiplexer operating at 1 Gb/s with 1.2 mW power dissipation, a D-1atch achieving a maximum speed of 2.2 GHz while dissipating 1.4 mW, two exclusive-OR gates with a delay less than 200 ps and power dissipation of 1.3 mW, and a bufferflevel shifter havi...

Microreentrant left atrial tachycardia circuit mapped with an ultra-high-density mapping system

Introduction Microreentrant tachycardias are well described and are thought to be responsible for a small proportion of atrial tachycardias post–atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. However, because of the small size of these reentrant circuits and the poor spatial resolution of conventional mapping tools, they have not previously been mapped accurately in vivo in humans and have therefore been d...

Design Strategies for Ultra-Low Voltage Circuits

Energy efficiency is an emerging metric for the quality of integrated circuit designs. Applications ranging from wireless sensor networks to RFID tags to embedded microprocessors require extremely low power consumption to maintain good battery life. We advocate the use of aggressively scaled supply voltages in such applications to maximize energy efficiency. This paper reviews our recent progre...

Novel voltage clamp circuits for ultra low-voltage applications

Voltage clamps for protecting low-voltage DC circuits require a new approach to circuit design. Many clamps commonly used were built for systems of 5-Volts or higher but lower voltage systems require distinctive clamping abilities. The use very low-voltage precision enhancement-mode MOSFETs play a pivotal role in designing voltage clamps in low-voltage
